“If you are looking for the absolute best tacos and aguas frescas, this is the spot. Hands down, nothing else compares!
The food is incredibly authentic and flavorful, but what makes this place even better is the staff. Every single time I visit, they are so welcoming and friendly.
I actually live an hour away, but the drive is worth it every single time. Honestly, my only complaint is that they aren’t closer to me—I am genuinely wishing and praying they open up a second location near my house soon! Do yourself a favor and check them out“

Tried the shrimp cocktail (shrimp, avocado, tomato, chili, and onion), birria sope, beef gordita, and birria tacos. Everything was flavorful and fresh. My favorites were definitely the birria tacos and the sope.

3 birria tacos for $12 — pretty fair pricing for the portion and quality.

Very packed, which is usually a good sign, but still nice and organized. Plenty of seating and the restaurant was decorated really well. Family-friendly atmosphere too.

“Love the papusas here, they can make them with just beans 🫘 and no cheese 🧀 🚫which is good if you cant eat dairy or are vegan. Some places cant do that since they pre make the papusas. Here they must be fresh made.
Its a pretty cramped and cozy environment. The food is really good“

“My brother and I tried La China Poblana Taqueria for the first time today. Having grown up in San Diego, we have been searching for an authentic, family restaurant experience for a long while since moving up the DC area. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. Service was spot on. Food was on point. We can't recommend this place enough. The birria tacos and quesadilla were fantastic. My brother also tried their lingua and loved it. Also, their fresh guacamole... I haven't had guacamole this good since I left California 23 years ago.“
