“My brother and I tried La China Poblana Taqueria for the first time today. Having grown up in San Diego, we have been searching for an authentic, family restaurant experience for a long while since moving up the DC area. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. Service was spot on. Food was on point. We can't recommend this place enough. The birria tacos and quesadilla were fantastic. My brother also tried their lingua and loved it. Also, their fresh guacamole... I haven't had guacamole this good since I left California 23 years ago.“

“Tacos al pastor rikisimos!!!“

“Have struggled to find good Mexican food around the area. I’m from Southern California so this is as close as it gets to “authentic.” This place offers everything. Food was good, atmosphere great, service was quick, and the price was less than $20 for everything. I got one of each taco (Asada, Al pastor, pollo, carnitas, and lengua.) worth it, and I had food to take home!“

“Love the papusas here, they can make them with just beans 🫘 and no cheese 🧀 🚫which is good if you cant eat dairy or are vegan. Some places cant do that since they pre make the papusas. Here they must be fresh made.

Its a pretty cramped and cozy environment. The food is really good“
