“The food was good and the staff was great, but the decor felt dated and in a bit of disrepair. They do have a rear outdoor patio if you'd like to be outside and they will allow well tempered dogs back there as well. All in all a solid 4-star stop.”

“Red Truck Bakery in Marshall, VA has been on my must-visit list for ages, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The charming country store vibe paired with the onsite bakery made for such a delightful experience. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by heavenly aromas that make it impossible to leave empty-handed. I tried the French ham and cheese quiche—absolutely scrumptious and almost tempting enough to buy a whole one to take home! Their selection of pies is incredible, and I couldn’t resist grabbing a fig scone too. I’ll definitely be back to sample more of their delicious treats!”

“A wonderful woman owned small business! I have been enjoying Hunt Country Foods chocolates and shortbread for over 17 years. The chocolates have become even more delicious and satisfying over the years with the variety of options available - chocolates, bark, perk up, Jazz, & shortbreads to name a few. My personal favorite is the dark chocolate bark with toffee but you can't go wrong with any of the items!”

“We ordered a couple pizzas, some fries, jalapeño poppers, and salad. Everything was good except I was disappointed by the portion of fries. It was listed as an appetizer and for $4.50 there was a small handful of fries in the container.”

“This is for the restaurant review. Had a very lovely evening with 4 course meal here. Such a cozy and warm atmosphere. The staff were all friendly, professional, and attentive. “Visited for the first time tonight as my son is a new employee and it seemed like the right thing to do. The food: I had the Fried Goat Cheese salad and the Baked Potato Soup. The salad was excellent. Lots of field greens and plentiful toppings. Fried Goat Cheese is always a winner. The Baked Potato Soup was also fantastic. Plentiful toppings and excellent rashers! The staff: Friendly and attentive. As an employer: Great family business approach and an extension of the village that parents count on to help raise their children. All around great experience.”

“King Street Oyster Bar in Downtown Middleburg is truly a gem, the food is fresh & delicious. The service was flawless, the drinks are very creative and tasty. The gelato is by far THE BEST gelato I have ever tasted. They also offer a great variety of food & Drinks for their Happy Hour. ❤️❤️”

“To be honest I did visit Cobbler Mountain on a Friday and their website said that you should make a reservation. When I approached the door an employee said to come right in. I was excited because it is off the beaten path and I had no cell service to call.

The Great Harvest Bread Company was onsite for the weekend. They had a delicious veggie sandwich they took the cheese off of to meet my dietary needs. I am happy they were there because I had been hiking and was hungry!

I chose a flight of ciders (all were good so I can't recommend a specific flavor). The wooden holder they served it in was cute, but not practical. Be careful when taking it off the bar because the back of it is open. It will tip over if you're not careful.

I didn't get to see the tasting room because they were preparing for a busy Father's Day weekend. I had to go up in the loft or suffer the heat outside. The loft is not a fun place to be, I might add. It's stuffy and no one else went up there.

Overall it was okay, the service was average (except for the Great Harvest Bread Company). I might go back but it won't be my first choice.”

“Server was inundated with customers and never brought me the beer I ordered. When steaks arrived server, not the one we started with, asked if we needed anything else. I mentioned the beer and said to just forget about it. He must have told manager as she showed up immediately and offered the beer at no charge. I refused but she insisted so it was delivered. Nice gesture that kind of made up for original ommission.”

“We went here for Mother’s Day brunch. It was very good. The food was tasty and the service was great. It was a long drive from DC, but very nice to be in the country side. The steak and eggs were good, eggs over cooked a bit. The roasted Brussels sprouts were excellent. And the peanut butter pie awesome! The bloody mary was one of the best I’ve had. Not too spicy. I’d definitely recommend this place.”

“The food is very good. But my review is more about their hospitality. They r very polite on the phone. And they are one of the few that deliver. My husband does dialysis and is wiped out on these days I don't drive so for them to deliver is very much appreciated. Thank you so much!!!”
