Hubby and I went here for lunch around noon one day. They almost didn't have a table available, but another couple kindly shared their 4 person table and, literally, split it with us. The decor is adorable! I love all the little ants and signage on the walls and the old time stove and cooking items to look at while you wait. The service was amazing! WOW! Mee Maw's was REAL homemade everything! I had strawberry pancakes with homemade strawberry sryup 😋. My husband had the bacon platter, which was 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and a side of biscuit and gravy. DELICIOUS doesn't do it justice but can't think of a better adjective to describe all the food! The owners were very friendly and attentive to the whole restaurant. We will be back! I want a piece of the homemade chocolate cake and banana pudding...
The fries were average, but we ordered to go so that may not be fair.
The strawberry feta walnut salad was very good. The grilled chicken on it was really good also and the homemade strawberry vinaigrette was a nice touch.
