Rising Sun is the perfect place because it has good food AND ambiance, which can sometimes be hard to find both in one place in Martinsville. They even have great coffee drinks and prebiotic sodas, which almost nobody carries around here!
This place is very nice! My son and I went there the other week and ordered some sandwiches. My son ordered a club sandwich and I a chicken salad sandwich. Delicious and very fulfilling! Both sandwiches made to perfection! They'll be seeing more of us, that's for sure!
This little coffee and bakery shop located across from the Post Office and Food Lion, makes for an easy stop in off both Spruce or Brookdale. Inside, there is an area with tables and chairs to eat in if you choose. The display units are filled with a wide spectrum of baked goods, which pushed my A1C warning lights to the danger levels on a visual, so I settled for the Cowboy cookie and chocolate chip to give my Metformin a challenge for the day.
