My daughter and I went last night for dinner. We arrived and hour before they closed and were offered our choice of seating, even though all the grills not in use had been shut down. The staff treated us great, like we were a large party and not just 2 people and the food was excellent.

My wife and I stopped for the night in Martinsville. We went to Yamato for dinner and really enjoyed it. My wife had the steak and shrimp dinner and I had the Hibachi Steak Dinner. Both came with soup, salad, veggies and a choice of rice or noodles. We both had rice. The meats were cooked exactly as ordered, the shrimp and vegetables were perfectly cooked. We really enjoyed the meal and rge service was great, too.

Me and my guy go here on a regular basis the restaurant is always clean the waitresses are very attentive and the food is always yummy would highly recommend

The steak was super tender, and the chicken was pretty good. Corn in fried rice, I don't know about that. If that's the only thing you but corn for, save your money. Soup, salad, sauces, and dressings, all really good!

Definitely one of the best places in Rocky Mount, it has become a Friday tradition. The owners are always in and they are phenomenal
