I have been here several times and last night when I was there it was not a good time. It was horrible. The cook did not know what he was doing. The worst part was it was my wife and I only and they added an 18% tip on the bill. That was ridiculous and I was not happy about that at all. Because the tip thing made me not want to go back there. Yes last night was my last time going there.

This is a great restaurant to eat at. Always make sure you get the cooking table. If you don't, you don't get as much food. Even at lunchtime, they always give me enough to eat there and to take home. The restaurant hasn't been renovated or possibly even cleaned in over 20 years. Had to get our own white sauce and chopsticks. Served the wrong order. Severely understaffed. Won't be back after being a faithful customer for years. It isBasically like a ghost restaurant.

I have always enjoyed my food at Yamato's. The food is delicious and filling. We sit at the cook top tables and enjoy our chef preparing our food for us. Highly recommend!!

My partner and I have dined here several times, and the food is always exceptional. Perfect prices. We have had sushi dishes, hibachi dishes, and a few different appetizers - the "happy jalapeño" and "bang bang chicken" are particularly awesome apps. Oh, and a little soup is provided for everyone, which is a nice touch. Staff are willing to make changes to orders for dietary needs or personal preferences. Lydiah is a fabulous server! Super nice, and mindful, and with just the right amount of check-ins.Vegetarian options: Mostly fish sushi and meat based hibachi on the menu - but there's an avocado sushi roll, and veggie noodles or fried rice options. The salad is actually good, with spinach and other deep greens.Parking: Huge parking lot, shared with other businesses but there's always plenty of space. Plus, the immense Walmart parking lot shares the area.Kid-friendliness: There are often families dining here, and all the staff are definitely kid-friendly.
