This was my first time going to Yamato's Steakhouse. Several sister friends from church decided to gather here on a Tuesday evening; all of them had been there before except for me. Everything from start to finish was both an entertainment and a pleasure! Our server Sophia was sweet, accommodating, and attentive! Our Chef was amazing! He was the consummate entertainer, phenomenal culinary wizard, and hilarious to boot! My memory is not so great on what I was told his name...
I love it here! It's such a fun experience to do the grill but also doing pick up your food is always fresh and delicious. Their ichiban roll is so yummy and their house soup while simple is absolutely delicious. The servers are so friendly and I come here all the time. Would recommend!
This place seems to be well run. You have the option of entertainment with a personal cook or regular table service. I chose to have table service. I ordered a crispy crab tempura appetizer which was presented very nicely on arugula with delicate sauce. Then I ordered a simple chicken and shrimp hibachi dish with vegetables and either a fried rice ball or lo mein noodles. I opted for the noodles.
