This is where the magic happens on the Massannutten resort at night! Lots of live music every night...quite entertaining for adults and kids! The only downside is that the indoor space is small to accommodate many people during the winter. There is a lot of outdoor space which I believe compensates during the warmer/summer months.

Trying to have a decent family Thanksgiving dinner. Waiting for 45 mins(was told couple mins) for party of 3. We were sitting at the wobbly table without utensils, server never showed up to bring the water. I got up and asked the guy who showed us to our seat. Its been 20 mins and we didn't get our drinks, he said, ok I will get her. She finally came, doesn't have our water and ask what do you guys wants to drink? I think its a common sense, when restaurant is busy, you saw the customer sit down, just bring the waters, if they want anything else, then bring it later. I went to the buffet area, saw the plates, mostly came out of dishwasher, wet, hot, disgusting, half dirty (spots here and there, leftover food here and there), bread didn't get fill up for 25 mins. They serving soup but no bowls and no spoon or utensils. Waiting 10 mins for bowls and came out dirty, hot, disgusting and wet as well. I went back to my seat with my daughter and the water still not there. I ate half of the food on my plate, and I got up, looking around, trying to find the server. No where to be found, then I saw her walking around in the corner and I asked, where is out waters, she was taking a big sigh and said "ok, I know... please, i'm trying". I was so confused and upset at this server. Yes, I understand its busy night, but looks like she does not have many tables. I don't think this is a lot. I was a server myself, so I know. This is a buffet, she doesn't need to bring menu, food, just need to bring waters or fill up waters. The fact that there is no utensils, no plates, no bowl, no water are ready, this place should not be opened for Thanksgiving, overpriced, saying "we'll provide the comfort for you to take the food". Its all garbage, ridiculous, ruin thanksgiving family night! I wont recommend this place ever. If I can give zero star I will.

How was that Thanksgiving buffet this 2025? It's been horrible the last 2 yrs past. Limited options, missing key Thanksgiving day staples, and not having most of the few items advertised anyways. We used to always love Thanksgiving dinner here amd at the water park restaurant. Please bring the quality back so we can attend next yr. We had to cook our own meals instead of being disappointed 3 yrs in a row.

Basecamp on last week of November was pretty good . Really cold but still good service unfortunately I order the steak with beans and blended rice undercooked and the chimichurri fells like grass whith no flavor very good nachos but the margaritas tasted like lemonade.

This was the absolute worst dining experience I’ve ever had in my life. My group and I waited over 50 minutes for our drinks, another 40 minutes for our food, and you guessed it, another 40 minutes for our check. Our server, Marisol, never checked on us between dropping off our drinks and dropping off our food and thus, we never received water, utensils, napkins, or an opportunity to order any more drinks or food, literally all she did was drop the drinks off and drop the food off. After receiving this terrible service, we got autogratuitied to tip her 20% because “there were 8 people being served at our table”. There was NOT 8 people being served at our table. There was 7 people sitting at our table, and 2 of them ordered drinks at the bar and Marisol NEVER waited on them for food or drinks, so she only waited on 5 of us and still autogratuitied our bill. Manager gave absolutely no care about the situation or offering any solution besides “I’ll talk to her”. In total, our group spent over $250 on this place that was absolutely not worth even half of that. Save your time, save your money, and save yourself a headache, and do not go here.

This was the worst place I’ve ever been to. The service was absolutely HORRIBLE. 1 bartender on a Saturday night, 2 servers. The place was not crowded at all, it took 50 minutes to get our drinks and an hour and 30 to get our food. The manager was so rude as well as the server. When i brought up my concern to our server she did not care, and was so rude to me. Gratuity was put on the check when it was two of us couples dining. I have never been more disappointed. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt since I am a server too, but this was just ridiculous. NEVER GO HERE. They do not care about you or their service. I am beyond disappointed.

We went last night and the food and experience here is terrible. We had the chimichurri steak and the pasta with chicken dish, both terrible. The pasta dish had almost no sauce and the chicken was so chewy and tough it was even hard to cut. We mentioned to the waitress that the dish was not good and asked to send it back and she told us that the dish was hit or miss, I wish she would’ve told me that when I ordered. They didn’t take it off the bill but offered chicken tenders for my kids instead. This is on top of the fact that the restaurant was freezing as it was below freezing outside. Many people came and left because it was too cold. There just lacks other decent options at the resort. This location and the food in general would cause you to stop coming to Massanutten.

We had the nicest time last night! The drinks and food were terrific( I got the Pineapple Express and the Tuscan pasta which were both delicious)!The live music was awesome! Wednesday is live music and discounted wine; we had a blast! Definitely a cool place to hang out for the evening! The bartender (I’m so sorry, I didn’t catch his name) was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, and our server, Marisol, was terrific! (Just a note when visiting here, it was chilly outside and there is limited seating indoors; make sure you get there early!) Would love to come back here again!

Like most people at the Massanutten Resort, we didn’t want to go into town for dinner. Eating here was a little regrettable. Nothing was great. The traschan nachos were anticlimactic and just average at best.

The view was great and a lovely crisp fall night but the food was subpar. Kids noodles over cooked, ban mi sandwich was cold and the meat was not smoked well and the wings were poorly dressed but rather throw in a puddle of sauce. It has so much potential to be amazing but they need to overhaul the food for it to be great.
