We ate here 3 times during our revebet stay...I would argue it's the best restaurant on the Massanutten resort. The food is fresh and tastes really good. Check out their salmon and thank me later 😋 The service was also quick...reasonable wait time for a busy restaurant.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I was impressed by the lady at the bar with the dark glasses, she was very respectful, but what truly caught my attention was her dedication and the delicate way she prepared each drink, almost like it was a piece of art. She’s not like a regular bartender who’s always in a rush.
I also liked the young guy who brought the food to the table. He seems to really enjoy what he does, with such a positive and energetic attitude toward every customer he serves.

Had a family Thanksgiving meal at the Campfire Grill in Massanuten. The atmosphere and decor of the place were great. Our server Nikki did a good job especially when It came to splitting the bill for the different parties. Food took a while to come out but we were a group of 19 so it's understandable. The food was mediocre. I felt like it had so much more potential. Side veggies were tasteless (something out of a retirement home). Butternut squash was a fail! The burgers were small. Overall we had a good time but food was underwhelming.

I really enjoyed my time for dinner here. The food was tasty and the service was quick and attentive. The hostess, the gentleman who brought out our food and our waiter Alex were all so kind, and sweet. Smiling and friendly! The atmosphere was calm and quite quiet. I was able to have a nice conversation without straining to hear what was being said. The French fries are really delicious.
We had spinach dip appetizer, base of it tasted like sausage gravy and no apology was given or offer to replace it. The charcuterie board was great!
The musician was talented but held back. We could not identify any of his songs and neither could google lyric finder.

The ½ chicken dinner was good. The candied squash or sw potatoes could be a little less sweet. The veggies were fine. Sitting outside was nice and we were the only ones on the deck.

Server was nice and polite. Our food on the other hand... half of our dinner sides were served cold and by the time the issue was addressed we had already eaten our protein. My Cat fish was tasty and the salmon was very good. My son enjoyed the Sizzling beer cheese burger.

We ordered steaks and fried fish with two speciality drinks. The cost of food and drinks compared to most restaurants in resorts was surprisingly cheaper. The food was delicious and in huge quantity for the price. If I had stayed here several nights, I would have definitely returned. The atmosphere was quieter, family friendlier with kids and warmer compared to the Base camp grill.
