The campfire grill exceeded expectations. Many of the reviews were mixed with people saying they didn't get enough value for their money but I don't know where they live, because we were completely satisfied.
Completely satisfied two types of eaters.
1. I'm a foodie and I want higher-end quality. I ordered the bourbon salmon over sauteed onions and had maple squash and smashed potatoes. The salmon was wonderful, seared perfectly and flavored lovely. The sides especially the squash was great. The potatoes aren't anything to write home but I would definitely get their beans next time. I had expected they might have too much saturation of fat and bacon and they didn't. It was $28.
I added an $12 wine flight by a local winery and it was very generously poured in appropriate glassware. Each wine went well with my food.
2. I travel with a friend who likes more pedestrian tastes of classic hamburgers. She had the sizzling cheesy burger and loved it. She got a side of the green beans and they were not only plentiful, they were cooked perfectly and only a little bit of bacon. It was $18.
Another treat is that it was kids eat free day. I'm glad we went in between meals so we didn't have to be with a lot of children but that's a great deal.
We left completely satisfied and needing no other food for the rest of the afternoon. I plan to go back and I'm hoping to have the chicken pot pie.

Atmosphere very nice. My server, can't remember her name but she came by every 5 minutes. It was great. The food, oh the food, I ordered medium rare and got the steak that still had a heart beat. It was very rare. I didn't complain about it while being there because massanutten paid for it. I did eat it all with the help of A1 sauce. I took one bite that I couldn't even chew. I had to spit it out because I didn't want to choke on it. But that steak wasn't cooked medium rare. It was my biggest upset. My wife ordered the same thing and hers was pulled off a little too soon as well.

Went on a Presidents Day weekend and after a long afternoon at the Waterpark this was a must needed refresher! Atmosphere was inviting. Service was good. The only reason I did not give Campfire Grill a 5 star was the slower service and food took a while to come out. It was President Day weekend. IMO they should have had more staff and been on thier A game. Kids enjoyed the hotdogs and Mac & Cheese. The Nacho Chili Burger was great. Will be back in the future!

Really disappointing experience. My friend was served uncooked chicken that was pink inside, which is honestly unacceptable. The rest of the food was bland and had no flavor. The only good part was the servers, who were nice and attentive. Unfortunately, good service couldn’t make up for the poor (and unsafe) food.

Massanutten Resort doesn't really have great onsite dining options - but this spot was the better one out of them all. Decent prices, full bar, and average (but doable) menu items. Staff was friendly (our server Anja was superb!). The Manager was very helpful and if you have a larger party speak to him and see about getting a reservation. Restaurant fills up quick by 6pm.

I have been going for at least 4 years straight now for my birthday for the wild game skillet and this year was the worst experience of them all. What used to be a delicious dish served on a sizzling skillet with broccoli, mushrooms, and onions that absorbed the flavor of the meat and was simply fantastic! Is now served on a plate with no full mushrooms and onions but a gravy that turned a once superior dish into sad sulsberry steak imitation that makes the wild game taste nothing more than a cooked burger. It was the saddest birthday meal yet and I am hard pressed to fathom attempting it even once more.

The dining room was busy when we arrived and we were seated with in one minute. Unlike the other restaurant we visited as a party of 9. The watress came right out and took our order appetizer and drink order drinks trickled out two at a time. When the dinner rush hit this crew stepped up to fill the gaps. We had a great meal. The live music both nights was on point Sunday was a more relaxed band as Friday the band would play just about anything reqested.

Great place. Went for Valentine's dinner. Had steaks and salmon. Fantastic. Genevieve provided the best service we've had in a long while. Definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend.

Food was excellent. There was live music, but not too loud. Nice place for dinner after hitting the slopes or tubing nearby.

Saturday between 1-4pm my boyfriend and I decided to sit at the bar to relax in between activities for the day. My boyfriend asked if he could get a double shot of alcohol. The bartender responded she can only make one shot. So he asked if he could just order two single shots and she caught an attitude and said no I can serve u one then when u get done I can get u another. I intervened and just distracted him by telling him when I returned from deployment bars in Hawaii had a similar rule. One drink per person maybe it’s like that here. We were having a good day I didn’t see the point in letting her energy being put on him for asking a question.
Anyways I ordered a Long Island. She gave me a drink that taste like straight lemon juice. I told her it just tastes like lemon juice. She got an attitude again said that she can only fit but so much in the glass. And she can go get a manager. I think she just didn’t know how to make the drink and her ego pride or something just wanted to be combative with customers. Still I don’t think that made sense because the night prior I got a Long Island from another bar at the resort and he made it perfectly for me. Please get this woman some customer service training and bartending lessons from a mixologist. And just post a sign about whatever drink rule there is because if your employees don’t know how to explain it then do yall really want the manager having to be called every time guests come to the resort?
We also got the cheese fries they were good.
