Restaurant was nice and located in a good spot. Once we left restaurant we went up the hill toward the hiking spot and ran into some deer on the road that walked right up to the vehicle. Really nice area if you like the outdoors.
The staff were moving tables for a large party. They kept apologizing for the noise and gave us a free desert even though it wasn't enough to disrupt us. Also heard one of them talking about turning up the AC because the large party would make it hotter and they didn't want anyone uncomfortable. They definitely care about the customers.
We just checked in and it was 9:21 p.m. and the pizza shop was closed. Saw that Campfire Grill was still open so drove the 6 minutes there. There wasn't a large crowd so it was perfect for me and hubby. We decided to sit at the bar to watch the Knicks and Spurs Finals.
Brandon came and changed the TV for my hubby. Katie was very attentive and recommended the cornbread! Our drinks were served quickly; hubby - Basic City 6th Lord IPA and mine - The Wanderer....
