Well i cant believe im in the foothills of Virginia and here is this crazy good Mexican restaurant. It started with the Salsa, spices and smokey roasted flavors with some complex heat. Yeah and that was just the salsa.....i tried the enchiladas cinco de mayo. 4 different flavors very distinct. I thought i liked the pork the best but then i tried the beef but then i had the cheese. Ohhhh the cheese. Everything was fresh and delicious. Prob best Mexican i have had in a loooonnnggg...
Food was fine. Not the best that we've had, but ok. Unfortunately the service, not so much. I mean the server was very nice. We ordered fajitas for two. Took awhile for the food to come out. Next, the server brought out the sizzling pan of food along with the rice, but no tortillas or plates. She said she would be back with the tortillas. I watched her take other table's orders and bring them drinks. We just started eating our fajitas with a fork because we were hungry...
Have been coming here for nearly a decade. The food is delicious, the service is wonderful and it is always a pleasant meal.
UPDATE - Unfortunately this restaurant is now understaffed and the food/service is suffering, same as every place else. Staff is still very friendly.
