Giving five stars because it’s a peaceful cafe with good coffee (I got their cold brew) and even some good food options, which I haven’t tried yet but will next time I am here (i tried the beef egg cheese sandwich and it was delicious). This area of McLean badly needed another coffee cafe type of place (because there aren’t many at all, I think there was just starnut), and we got one!
This was the first time visiting for my wife and I. Didn’t expect much, but we were both pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the food very much. Shakshuka was particularly very delicious. Wanted to try their pastries as well, but too full so we’ll have to come back another day. Would definitely recommend for breakfast or brunch.
This local cafe is home away from home. The owner and staff always greet me with a warm smile and caring conversation. The vanilla rose latte and lentil lemon soup are delicious, but the bisconces (homemade scones-biscuits) are DIVINE. You have been warned. I am so grateful for this gem and hope to enjoy it for many, many years to come.
