The best tasting freshly made bagels around. No contest.
Reminds me of NYC bagels shops. Excellent fast service as well.

I remember getting the cinnamon bagel bites when I vacationed as a kid so I was so excited to see a Chesapeake Bagel Bakery across from the carwash....I bought them out and they (although larger) are exactly how I remember them!

A bit on the expensive side, but good food. We keep coming back! LOL. Love grabbing a fresh bagel sandwich and some day old goodies too. Always satisfying to eat Chesapeake Bagel Bakery food!

Pricy, non engaging employees. Bagels are good though.

Large selection of baked goods. Ordering area is rather narrow, reminiscent of a New York deli, but there is plenty of room to sit indoors in the back as well as outside. Bagels are soft and chewy. Parking outside is plenty and free. As I mentioned earlier, the entry is tight, but is wheelchair accessible. If you are the type to take a long time to order, you might want to take a look at their menu/order in advance otherwise you may find yourself stressed to keep the line moving. Food comes out fairly quickly and is good enough to make me want to come back to try the other items on their menu.

Vegetarian options: Their menu is mostly vegetarian though there are options to add an assortment of standard breakfast and sandwich meats.

Parking: Plenty of space out front

Kid-friendliness: Great selection of food for kids

Wheelchair accessibility: A bit tight at the ordering counter, but you can maneuver around. If seated, might be difficult to see the menu on the wall, but they have a QR code on the glass so you can pull up the menu on your smart phone.

Yummy fresh bagel but the eggs were microwaved in plastic containers which I generally tried to avoid. Overpriced so a simple egg sandwhich friendly service.

With Call Your Mother open why would you go back to an outdated place with poor service and a dirty location. I’ve lived in McLean my whole life and I’ve always had negative experiences here with staff and the owner. Try something new leave Chesapeake in the past!

The white pizza bagel and bagel bites are amazing. They always sell out and they are quite the go-to spot in McLean. The only downside is just how crowded and busy it can get in such a small place, but they do a good job getting through a crowd quickly. If you haven't been, I highly recommend this place!

While waiting for my cream cheese bagel to be made, I saw a roach crawling out of where the bagels are displayed and stored. Canceled my order immediately. Very disgusting!!!! Not going there again!

It's not a bad place, but for the price it could be WAY better. everything is microwaved to death, had needed an overhaul since 1975.
