Lovely Thai addition to our fast-growing repertoire of cool restaurants in McLean! The lemongrass soup was total perfection! Would come back just for that. The main dishes were solid. Beautifully presented.

We had takeout from here, first time in the new location. We ordered Veggie Pad Thai and Chicken Satay which were both delicious, not too heavy on the salty sauces and with a nice assortment of vegetables. Glad they made the move and are open and we will return!

The place deserves a full 5 as their food is fresh and delicious and the decor is very entertaining.I have been here twice. Once for dinner and once for lunch. I love shrimp pad Thai and also shrimp pad see-ew, Thai iced tea and mango sticky rice x dessert! The first time during dinner our waiter, who could not be nicer, was pulled in many directions and thus our service was delayed. The second time during lunch we got the same waiter, we got great service from him and the food was on time. I am going back soon.Parking: There is free street parking and also free underground parking lot x those dining at that commercial center (there are a few other restaurants).Kid-friendliness: I saw some kids in booths twice. The decor is entertaining.

Highest quality Thai restaurant cooking in DMV for the price. Probably top ? ten in the west for Chiang Mai street style. Cooking ? is another ?️ level of health and original taste. Great, loyal, customer base.Kid-friendliness: The most family friendly Thai restaurant in DMV. No pretense in Langley/McLean downtown.

I was captivated by its authentic ambiance—a subtle blend of traditional decor with antique gallery, very welcoming atmosphere. The staff exuded warmth and friendliness, adding a touch of familiarity to the dining experience. The menu, presented a minor challenge with its regular Thai dishes but had abundance of choices. My favorite dishes were - Chiang Mai Noodle, ka pow krab, drunken noodles and a side of crispy egg noodles.Sumo Gyoza, Hae Kuen were not up to the mark. Stir fried yellow curry was disappointing, lacked basic seasoning. In summary, this gem only offered an authentic ambiance, amiable service from experienced staff, but did not deliver on taste, getting this place closer to another basic destination for thai enthusiast leaving it’s true potential.I will only be returning for their drunken noodles.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible access from the street, has a ramp access from the parking garage.

A wonderful new location for a fine local restaurant. We've done carry out several times and dined-in this weekend. The menu now seems to be larger with more variety than it was in the previous, tiny location. Food is superb. Service great. Another fine dining choice in McLean.

Beautiful new location too bad the food is terrible. We ordered curry chicken, Drunken Noodles with shrimp, spicy eggplant, chiang Mei Curry. One worse than the other and I tried them all. For the first time I was actually happy they gave a small portions because the food was honestly terrible and would have straight into the garbage. Very disappointing

The food is spectacular. The service is great and didn’t take that long for the food to come out.

We were distraught when Change Mai closed the doors of their old tiny place to build up their new better space. The long wait was well worth it. Despite the upsize, the eclectic decor at their new location retains the comfortable, warm, quirky feel of the original. Then, there's the food - still superlative - Thai that stands above: tender dumpling appetizers, Panang Curry rich with peanut flavor. The full menu calls us to come back soon. We surely will.
