Oh noooooo...I hope Donburi isn't closed permanently! Here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and the kiosks are gone, no Donburi sign and nobody working. Give em a call first if you are coming specifically for Donburi. I hope they are only relocating and not closed permanently.

I have loved the Donburi menu since the DC location in Adams Morgan. This Donburi location is conveniently located inside of Tysons which makes parking a non issue. There is a self serve touchscreen machine for ordering. Food came out quickly after I ordered. There is plenty of seating, all indoors in the open mall. I ordered the Ebi Katsudon with Curry, it was consistent with the quality of other locations. The shrimp was fried perfectly and the curry was freshly made, steam was still coming off of it. I will definitely be back soon and would recommend :)

The food was okay as a fast food meal. I feel like the salmon I had was not very fresh but not that bad though. Quick service.

After waiting for 15 mins, they told me they’re out of rice and needs a few more minutes. 10 min later, still not ready. I told them I wanted to cancel my order coz it’s getting late since I’m not from the area and my kids were getting tired. The guy said couple more mins and I got the food finally and had to leave right away and my kids ate the chicken and shrimp in the car. When I got home, I started eating the leftover with the rice and realized the rice wasn’t even fully cooked. I’m so angry and disappointed.

I am rating based off of their curry bowl. The curry was a nice hot temperature and the perfect amount was spice. The chicken was super crispy and the shrimp tempura was very moist on the inside yet crispy on the outside as well. Highly recommend

The curry had good flavor. The chicken karaage was a bit over-fried. The shrimp tempura didn’t have much shrimp to it but the tempura was nice and crispy. The katsu was delicious. The portions were really good sizes. I don’t think the food was great enough to go back but there aren’t that many options for Japanese style curry in the area so maybe we will.

First time trying Japanese curry and it's so good! Very deep and rich flavors and not too overpowering like a more traditional Indian curry. Similar to a Thai curry I think but I was surprised but how much I enjoyed it paired with the fried shrimp and chicken. The toppings great texture and completes the meal. I didn't feel heavy or sweaty after which sometimes curries tend to do. A little pricy for the portions but you walk away feeling super satisfied

I would give this restaurant a 3.5/5. I placed my order at around 6pm on a Sunday evening, using one of the two self service machines just off to the right of the counter.I got an order of their butadon which came out to be $15.95 + tax. It came with a serving of sweet and savory glazed soy sauce based boneless pork collar butt over a bed of rice, with carrots, wasabi, and a side salad. The butadon bowl looked very appealing, but the side salad looked a bit lacking. While there weren't very many customers before me, it still took quite some time for my order to come out. The pork was pretty good, but it's a bit pricey for what you get. Overall, I'd recommend coming here if you're already in the mall, and are looking for a convenient savory rice dish.

Easily the best shrimp tempura and Japanese curry in town. Even in Japan I did not have shrimp tempura that tasted like this so I would definitely recommend this place. A few years ago I had the shrimp tempura and it is nice to see that their quality has not decreased. The chicken on the other hand used to be really good but is not so good anymore. Order the shrimp curry and you won’t regret it!

Located inside Tysons Galleria and part of the Urban Space food court, Donburi brings a variety of different textures and flavors in their dishes!First, you order at the self-serve kiosk and they call your name (not your number) when your order is ready. The wait time is not bad at all and everything is so fresh!Their Donburi Moriwase is their signature entree and a must try for first timers. I enjoyed my bowl. There was plenty of meat and flavors from the sweet daikon radish, sauce, umami from salmon/shrimp tempura/chicken karage. If you are in the mood for something a bit more comforting, anything curry is the way to go! I personally love Japanese curry so much and would eat it more often if I didn't gain weight so easily, lol. There is plenty of seating overall at this food court, so no worries there.

4/5!Definitely a fan of this spot. Placed inside of Tysons II, you can order various amounts of Donburi, Curry and bowls to your liking. It's priced somewhat reasonably and the food was delicious.I went with the Spicy Sakedon, which included spicy salmon, mixed greens, onions and masago. All on a bed of rice! The salmon was delicious, the spicy sauce they had on top actually had a very nice kick. And there were plenty greens as well. It was very balanced and tasty. To order, you order on the kiosk in front of the the restaurant itself. Their menu is simple and easy to navigate through as well.Overall, solid 4/5! Food was good, no complaints.

Didn't enjoy my bowl as much as I thought I would. The karaage had really juicy chicken, but a strange taste. The batter tasted burnt or like they fried it in old oil. The shrimp tempura was outstandingly crisp and tasty, but I wish they used bigger pieces of shrimp because it felt like I was eating mostly breading. The egg underneath all the meat was good, but the soy sauce drizzle they put over the rice was too salty for me. Overall, my dish missed the mark. I would not come back, but it's not a terrible place to grab some food if you're in mall already. Although, the wait for our food was quite long.

Donburi Moriwase was amazing, I would order the salmon on the side and add it later because the heat from the rest might start too cook it.

This placed was so delicious! Very nice Asian restaurant in the mall. You self-order on a kiosk and the food came out pretty quickly for me. I got the mix katsudon and the food came out very warm and freshly cooked. The chicken and shrimp tempura over the rice was so good, and the mayo/sauce was a nice touch. I was pleased to find out that there's another location in DC which I'm excited to check out
