I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Chrissy at Flower Child McLean.

She provided exceptional service during my visit — truly the best service I have received at this location. Chrissy was incredibly patient, respectful, and attentive. She helped me customize my meal with great care, especially since I am trying to lose weight, control my sugar intake, and eat clean.

She listened to every detail of my dietary needs and spent more than ten minutes preparing the perfect balanced meal for me without showing any sign of frustration. Her smile never left her face, and she demonstrated professionalism, kindness, and genuine passion for helping customers.

Chrissy is truly the right person in the right place — a great asset to your team and a wonderful representation of Flower Child’s values.

Please pass along my appreciation to her. She made my evening better with her positive attitude and dedication.

Very nice venue with well spaced wooden tables and chairs - not what you would expect from a fast casual salad place!

Salads are great, I enjoed both the Mediterranean chciken with a harissa kick and the chicken yarisoba noodle, rich flavors.

Comfortable and chill place to eat, convenient to the Silver Line. Highly recommend the teas and lemonade.

Was visiting family in the Washington DC area when we stumbled upon this amazing restaurant! To say their food is healthy is an understatement. The quality and care taken to ensure that every bite does the most for your mental and physical health is evident from when you first walk in the door.
Everything you see on the menu is exactly what you get! Nothing is fake or processed!
The staff is very kind and friendly and we're patient with my numerous questions as this was the first time I'd ever been here.
The atmosphere is relaxing and fun! We sat outside because it was a beautiful August afternoon and there was a slight breeze making it seem a bit cooler than it actually was.
We each order different things and shared our bites and came to the conclusion that everything was freaking delicious! The fact that it was healthy was a lovely side benefit! As you can see from the pictures, everything is colorful and well plated.
Sometimes salads can leave you feeling hungry a couple of hours later, not so at the flower child. Flavorful, feeling, and delicious! I cannot find enough adjectives to describe how much I love this place! I wish they had one closer to where I live, and will definitely pop in here the next time I'm in the DC area.

Amazing, very cozy feel. Authentic tip of the cap to the '70s feel, with a modern, chic style. The Mother Earth bowl was off the charts.

Overall, my experience was decent, and I would recommend it as a solid option, especially if you're in a hurry. While my tuna bowl didn't really stand out, it was a perfectly fine meal. I think my enjoyment may have been influenced by what I ordered; the tuna bowl was just alright, it was fresh, but it lacked the flavor was hoping for.

The food at this place is really good, but management should provide more oversight into the portions served by their teams for takeout. The mother earth bowl was just over $14 and the ingredients barely covered the bottom of the bowl--it was so light that I could see it. To add insult to injury, I ordered through Door Dash, so the total cost was over $32

I placed an order with Doordash and when I got the food, there was a fly inside of the food container.

Flower Child is such a gem! It happens to be right by my office, which makes it the perfect spot for a quick lunch, but honestly I’d come here even if it wasn’t so convenient. They have a fantastic variety of healthy options—everything from flavorful wraps to fresh bowls and salads. The food always tastes great and feels wholesome without being boring.

The ambience is another highlight. The restaurant is always spotless and has a really cute, almost hippie-chic vibe that makes it feel fun and relaxing at the same time. Pair that with service that’s quick, efficient, and consistently friendly, and you’ve got the perfect spot whether you’re grabbing something to go or sitting down for a casual meal. Definitely a favorite in the area!

Had the tuna poke bowl. I love these bowls everywhere else. This place doesn’t know how to make them. A pile of cucumbers and radishes sliced large, not Julienned with no dressing. Just plain raw veggies. . And a pile of pickled ginger, like what you get with sushi. Who eats a forkful of pickled ginger?!?!. And very little tuna. Will not come again
