It’s our first time visiting this restaurant and we are totally disappointed by the food and the ridiculous prices. We ordered two lobster with scallions and found out the lobsters were not the fresh one and obviously it’s from the freezer because the meat were very mushy. This dish they charged us for $138 for two frozen lobsters. And we also ordered the eight treasures duck. And same problem here. There was no duck meat at all and all the sticky rice tasted like been stored in freezer for long time and they just reheated it and put into the duck. It was awful. They charged us for $78 for a dish of sticky rice which was old and salty. We also ordered some vegetables with fish belly and when the dish came, it’s some vegetables with some pig skin. We also asked for a seafood pot , and the black mushrooms in the dish were sour. And we even realized the white rice was raw in the middle! We asked for some well down rice and was told all the white rice was like that! I believe this will be our first time and last time of visiting this restaurant. Maybe the dim sum dishes here were good but the seafood food here were totally disappointing.

Food was good on average. Favorites were the fried glutinous rice dumplings and the duck.
The rice noodle rolls didn’t have as much elasticity than other places I’ve tried.
The congee was good, but the chicken was on the dry side. We got it with preserved egg and it came with chicken in the base. Would get it without chicken next time if that’s an option.

Food is okay, but atmosphere is horrible!!!! We were sat next to a large party where they had large mic presentations and were very loud. We asked to be moved, but with open seating next to us the restaurant manger said there were almost done. We asked again to be moved because 30 min later, they weren’t done, but our food was here and they said it was too hard to move us. The presentation and loud speeches and noise happened the full 1.5hr we were there. Horrible service!!!!

I would say that Han palace exceeded my expectations. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed every dish that we ordered.
The service was prompt and helpful.

Overly salty dim sums. Especially roasted ducks are too salty to eat. Reduced quality compared with when I visited one year ago. 烧鸭太咸了 不推荐

Han Place is the perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy an elevated Chinese dining experience. The elegant and upscale interior sets it apart from your usual Chinese restaurant, making it ideal for celebrating special occasions. The menu feels more refined, with carefully crafted dishes that highlight both flavor and presentation. Their dim sum is especially noteworthy – beautifully made, delicious, and served with attention to detail. If you’re in the mood for a premium Chinese dining experience, Han Place is highly recommended.

If you are looking for authentic Hong Kong cuisine, you will be disappointed. For DMV standard, the food is adequate.

Worst service I’ve had in a Chinese restaurant. Waiter didn’t give us anything to drink, my daughter asked for sprite, before we could even mentioned that we also wanted drinks he turned around and left the table. It was my son’s birthday, we wanted to order drinks and desserts, and we ended up ordering our bill. We also waved at the hostess (looked like the owner) who instead of coming to see what was going on, randomly pointed to who should be doing the job and ignored us, just to later come back and act annoyed when we asked for some water — mind you, we had already eaten out dinner with dry mouth. Then they took forever to bring our bill and to take our payment, which almost made us miss our next plans. To end the terrible experience, the hostess kept on looking over my husband’s shoulder as he was signing the check standing up at the door to see how much he was tipping. Oh, the food was average, not impressed at all. And don’t order the deep fried soft crab dish as it doesn’t taste like crabs at all, tastes like their oil only.

Ughh I really wanted to give more stars then what I gave. We went there right when it opened and right from the get go we were not amused. We sat for about 10 mins before anyone acknowledged our group. Never got water, never got an extra setting when we had a group of 5 and only got 4 plates. Definitely understaffed as we saw only 2 servers doing everything at opening. The owner/manager was yelling and screaming at his employees infront of patrons, very unprofessional. Food was just okay. Nothing to rave about. The sprite we order tasted straight bleach. At the end we got charged for items we didn't even order. Only 2 adults got jasmine tea and on our bill at the end they charged us for 2 jasmine teas and 2 chrysanthemum teas. The jasmine tea was only $1 pp and the chrysanthemum tea was $1.50/pp. We had 3 kids who only drank water. I'm confused why we got charged an extra $3? So check your bill, that was wrong to charge your customers items they did not order, it annoys me to no end when a business does not conduct themselves with honesty. The service here is not it. Like others have mentioned if you want to pay a premium and get horrible service then go for it. So disappointing.
