We had a great dining experience. The food, especially the dim sum, was fantastic. Our only suggestion is to order all your dishes at once to avoid a long wait. The staff were friendly and tried their best. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Likely the best dimsum place in NoVa area. If you see a lot of Asians rushing into a dimsum restaurant for weekend lunch, you know it’s good.
One thing though- write down everything you order and check if it came out :)

I was impressed last year. But today the quality of food just deteriorated to the point I would never go back again. The rice crepe is thick and sticky like rice cake as a result of precooked and reheating. The shrimp dumplings are obviously reheated. I know what real Cantonese dim sum should be since I was from there. Another problem is I felt crazy thirsty after dining there, a symptom of overdose of smg.

I gave this place a second chance and then a third chance for evening dining and each time Han Palace failed. As I walked in 1 hour 10 minutes to closing, I was greeted with "we close in one hour!" As I was waiting for a friend en route, I couldn't really change plans but I kept count and eight different times during our experience different staff kept saying things like 'we close at 9, so you need to order now' (an hour to closing). At 8:45pm a woman manager came by and knocked on our bill on the table (which was brought as we were halfway done) and snapped, 'we are almost closed, you need to take care of this,' and I found myself snapping back "it isn't 9, can we please finish our dinner?" Unless you are getting takeout, do not expect a pleasant experience here. Our specific waiter tried to be as nice as possible to balance out the rudeness of the other staff, but no one could accomplish that feat. The food is very good for takeout, just not the same quality re the dining room experience -go elsewhere for that.
Vegetarian options: There could be more vegetarian options but enough to suffice in a group situation.
A great place for a relaxing evening with friends. Their dim sum a must-try, and the overall vibe is just perfect.
