About Bell Cafe

Bell Cafe offers a cozy brunch experience with a homey atmosphere and tasty food. The chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, steak and eggs, and crab cake sandwich are highly recommended dishes. The portions are large, including a massive biscuit. The latte flights are a must-try, served in cute glasses with seasonal flavors. The staff is young but attentive, making customers feel welcome. The cafe provides many vegetarian options, such as the veggie scramble with roasted veggies that are flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. The homestyle potatoes are well-seasoned, and the cafe's outside patio is a charming spot to enjoy a meal. Service is friendly and casual, with attentive staff who make sure guests feel comfortable. While the fully loaded omelette impresses with its variety of veggies, the chicken biscuit can be dry and lacking sauce. Overall, the food is good, with fast service and plenty of good coffee. The cafe aims to be environmentally conscious, though straws are not offered. Despite some items needing better temperature and presentation, Bell Cafe offers a comfortable, upscale vibe with lots of vegetarian choices for meat-free meals. It’s a cozy spot with friendly service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Great food really tasty. Service? Tell you what, best service we had in a long time. Thank you Irish!

Normally, when we make the trip we go through Annapolis because our kids love the scenery, but the extra time it takes can be so annoying. For our trip down this year for Easter, we took 95/295/64 which cut off a ton of time. By the time we got off 95 outside Richmond, everyone was hungry, but we wanted something more substantial than fast food. Thankfully, we didn't get off at the...read full review
