First place where I liked the whiting better than the catfish...priced reasonably overall, even better ala carte. Specials are not on the ordering screen as I was told after asking.

The food was great. The shrimp were large and tasted amazing, the okra was great, so were the hush puppies. All of the fried food was good and fried well. The food came out quick and was made fresh. There were no issues with the staff, they were friendly. The bathroom was relatively clean. The table was a bit small but it was fine.
Overall, great spot to stop for lunch on the road.

Bubba’s Shrimp Shack brings the coast to Mechanicsville! Their seafood is fresh, flavorful, and just hits the spot when we want something different for dinner. Great staff, great vibes—definitely a family favorite.
