A spontaneous decision to get breakfast with my son after an early morning farmer's market trip. A quick internet search for best breakfast in Mechanicsville brought us here. Inviting atmosphere and friendly greetings fun staff and customers alike as we entered. I was waiting for my vehicle to get fixed & dropped it off around 9a. Decided Id get something to eat while I waited.
Servers were all friendly. I only had water to drink & it stayed full.
I cant normally afford steak but I chose the steak & eggs & home fries. The home fries were a bit greasy for me but the steak & eggs were great!! Both were fixed the way I like. Biscuts were fluffy but really dry.
Only open for breakfast till lunch.

Great spot to grab breakfast. I have been here a few times now and have never had a bad meal. The wait staff is always pleasant and the food comes out hot and quick. You cannot go wrong with choosing this restaurant. Highly recommend for anyone looking for some old fashioned southern cooking.
