Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Ordered food for pick up. Said it would be ready at a specific time. Made sure to be there before said time. Still waiting on food over an hour and a half later..

We were in a group of 10 and our waitress did a great job of trying to feed us together as much as possible.

Love that place

We had a large group with many kids and they were able to seat us rather quickly for a Saturday evening. Our waitress was great and attentive and the food was good, though my seabass was dry.

Such a nice relaxing restaurant to go to for good food at great prices. I love Cracker Barrel because you can get any kind if food any time of the day. With so many food choices you will never go hungry.

Freezing cold in there and could not enjoy the experience

I typically like Cracker Barrel. My boys will order and eat all their food there, and we always get the same thing. This last time wasn't so great. The dining room was FREEZING, we waited a long time for our food and it came out lukewarm and one of my son's piece of bacon fell off his plate onto the servers tray and she kept brushing it with her hand, and I foolishly thought she would just go get another piece, but no. Server also never offered refills we had to ask for them. Nothing was overtly bad, but it was not the service they usually give. I don't know if it's worth it to pay to go out to eat anymore. It's too expensive and service is always lacking these days.

We eat at the Mechanicsville Cracker Barrel fairly often. This was the best experience in a while. Despite waiting on the entire middle section of the restaurant by herself, she was attentive and willing to spend time with us. The servings were large and delicious.

The problem occurred at the seating reception desk. Melanie, told us we had to wait, until our whole party of 5 arrived b4 we could be seated. I am disabled, can't stand for long periods of time. I have a disabled decal for my car. Took about 20 minutes, our party arrived. I'll be darned if we weren't seated next to 3 people at a table for six, who were already drinking drinks, and who were guess what??? Waiting for 3 other people. I don't understand the difference, even got their food not long after we sat down. Just called the manager at this local, and was totally unsatisfied with his responses or his complete lack of concern for the situation. Next call is corporate. Thank God, I do not go to this location often.

The campfire meals were over rated... we will not try them again.

Food was good and reasonable priced.

I hadan excellent manager. Norm really went out of his way to help me. I have special needs and have to eat soft foods.
