Used to love this place but don’t go when they about to close, customer service not good. We were told “we close at 9:30” as soon as waitress come to pur table as to say you don’t have long. So we felt we had to hurry up eat and we asked for to go containers when we placed order after that. The sodas were flat. But food was good.
Ginger Red is my favorite Mechanicsville spot! My husband and I love the sesame chicken, general tso’s chicken, beef broccoli, ginger red pan fried noodle, and gyoza. I’m picky about the quality of Chinese chicken and theirs is always great. The sushi here is good too and hits the spot (definitely the best sushi option in Mechanicsville), but nothing super special.

Our 3rd visit in a month: Food always fresh, delicious, attractive and beautifully presented. Our server Avril is always attentive and friendly; a joy, actually. Watching how she engages with other customers and staff is also a delight and impressive. She's a pro!
