My daughter and I have stayed at Goodstone several times over the years. It is a truly beautiful property; lovely rolling fields, various buildings on the property where you can stay, each with their own charm, a great restaurant offering farm to table dishes, a gorgeous pool and a friendly and accommodating staff. We took a tour of the farm and gardens this year and were impressed by all the herbs, veggies and flowers they grow for use in the kitchen and rooms.

The setting here is so gracious and authentic. It’s the opposite of a Salamander experience. We stayed in the Stallion Suite which had a gorgeous 4 poster bed and curated art. My only negative here is the food. The wine cellar is superb, but they have done away with the tasting menu and wine pairings which is a shame. We wanted a cheese and charcuterie board for hors d’oeuvres and they don’t offer that! We were truly taken aback. The scallops were...
