Middleburg Common Grounds

This was so disappointing. Saturday noon yes its a busy time but an hour wait for a ciabbatta egg sandwich that was so skimpy with an egg, one thin slice turkey deli meat and a few sprigs of arugula. They dont put prices on anything nor do they tell you how long the wait will be. Cute place for maybe picking up a coffee but otherwise forget it.

Burnt coffee. We waited over an hour for our sandwiches. You have to warn people if your kitchen can’t support the number of customers.

Friendly staff and comfy chairs inside.

It can get crowded so be patient.

I wish they had ceramic mugs for their coffee; adds to the coffee shop atmosphere.

Great food, however a less than hospitable response from our server when I inquired about a forgotten item I had ordered. Turns out the order was botched, yet our servers attempt to rectify the order was LESS than half- hearted.

What would have been a nice and delicious breakfast turned miserable due to the manager sloppily taking over the whole leather chair section watching extremely loud social media the entire hour we were there. We watched as people walked in and shook their heads at him sitting there and leaving. We knew he was the manager because the staff came over to complain to him and he didn’t even look up to listen. We miss the days when the friendly owners were actively involved :(

Cute atmosphere for a coffee shop. Cashier was beyond stand offish and appeared miserable. The food???? Well they made the food sound appetizing. However, it was just another microwavable breakfast sandwich. Mushy and tasteless. I expected food to be prepared not microwaved for the cost. Over $20 for two microwaved sandwiches I could have gotten at Sheetz. Disappointing.

Yummilicious ciabatta bread egg and bacon sandwich, and oat milk iced latte at a table with umbrella on the patio was great! The people are friendly there, service quick, and you'll meet some great dogs!

I got the citrus chicken salad sandwich which was FIRE. The ice vanilla latte was also FIRE! I don’t know if it’s because I was hungry but it was so good!! Approved. Also the pricing was perfect.

Excellent espresso

Stopped in for coffee and what a delightful spot! They have tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Great stop as you’re shopping around. Didn’t get to try the lunch or sandwiches but will definitely be back to try.
