My husband and I attend a friends wedding at The are Fix Inn and Tavern June 2026. We love historic buildings, this is a beautiful place to stay and fine. We did not stay in Middleburg, just attended the wedding. The grounds for the wedding was lovely, and the venue was on the outside patio with excellent food and drinks. My husband and I came here for a lovely dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The ambience in the restaurant was wonderful - very cozy with pleasant lighting and nice decor. The food during our 4-course meal was outstanding - my favorites were the squash blossom appetizer and the strawberry shortcake dessert. Service was polite and attentive without being overbearing. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!
This review is for the tavern - which is excellent. Delicious and thoughtful courses. The scallop had the best sear of any scallop I’ve ever had. I really appreciated that the wine menu included many excellent Virginia wines on top of a thoughtful selection of global wines. The restaurant itself is cozy and homey. Will absolutely be back!
