Awful. Best thing was coleslaw and mac and cheese. Pulled pork was chopped and saucy (more like a crockpot style), smash burger oddly spiced (couldn’t eat) ribs ok but heavy on rub. Everything heavy salted. Some of the worse bbq we’ve had

Food was good but I didn't care for it. Didn't like sauce. Potato salad was soupy. Coleslaw needed more salad dressing. I put it in potato salad. Much better. Thought it was overpriced for sandwich and 2 sides and drink. $22.00

A true gem & best BBQ in Virginia. We got the BBQ Sampler with brisket, pulled chicken and smoked sausage. All were fantastic, but the pulled chicken is out of this world good. You have to try the baked beans and the hush puppies, neither are usually my favorite, but they were both incredible. I usually love to cover bbq in sauce, but everything was perfect enough on its own. (The BBQ sauces are also amazing, but the food speaks for itself.) We’ll drive an hour for it any day.
Was looking for some good BBQ, and I stumbled upon this place on my trip out into the Shenandoah area in Western Virginia. Service was very friendly. Atmosphere gives small town BBQ shop vibes; some pretty cool wall decor and picnic outdoor seating if desired.
I asked the person working the counter what I should order, and she mentioned the ribs and mac n' cheese, so I got a whole rack of ribs and a side of mac n' cheese. The ribs tasted good, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much meat was on them. I can eat a full rack of ribs from a lot of places where I live because there's not a lot of meat on them. I had leftovers to take back with me after this one. The mac n' cheese was also absolutely delicious.
Also gotta give a shoutout to the Tangy Virginia BBQ sauce they make. It's their own brand, and it has a subtle sweetness with a little kick.
Also bought a chocolate chip cookie, a brownie cookie, and cornbread to take with me for later, and while the cornbread was good, the cookies were definitely homemade and the perfect level of chewiness with a little crunch.

We have family visiting from South Korea and they couldn't have been more impressed of the food and hospitality that Cynthia showed us. We had a wonderful time and will be back again, soon!
