Don’t hand out 5 stars that often. Food is just GOOD. Love the ambience. Staff all have smiles on their faces, just a cool, relaxing evening with great food and great whisky.

One of the best meals we've had locally! Absolutely worth the 15-min drive from Winchester-

The restaurant is a cute place, that's the only thing I can say that was good. The tables were way too close, so as we were eating, the staffs butts were in our faces, and or bumping into us trying to get to other tables. The food.... if you love salt, this is ur place. The eggs were over cooked, brown on the edges, and SUPER salty. The pancakes were brought to the table, no butter, no syrup, by the time I got those items, the pancakes were cold.... even the pancakes and syrup was salty. I dont recommend coming here. I won't be back.

What is this place? Awesome experience in the literal middle of nowhere for me- (New York to Charlotte) perfection food, a million whiskeys and bourbons and Dan, who knows them all! Go. Now.

If you’ve never been to Vault & Cellar, you must remedy that situation immediately! Chef Kari’s menu is delicious, innovative, and never disappoints. The bourbon list is mind blowing and the mixed drinks are unique and enticing. This place is always my stand-by when anyone asks me where to get a great meal. Highly recommend the pork belly bites, the biscuits, Rabbit Food, and venison!

We was excited to try the brunch but seating was kinda a letdown. We had 4 adults and a baby but got stuck in the bar area with those super hard wooden bench and weird swivel stools that were really uncomfortable. The table was wobbly too, so it felt like everything was falling apart. Food was okay but pretty pricey, my omelet was like \\$26 which felt a bit much. Service was nice tho, so that was good. Probably won’t sit in that spot again.

Very pretty and atmospheric interior and interesting food. I had the beet pickled egg and boiled peanuts for starter (both were very good) and the pork chop for a main. The pork chop was very well seasoned and perfectly cooked with a nice char on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The potatoes that came with it were just ok, seasoned well, but I’m not a fan of wedges that are so soft as they were. Also could have done with some sauce to go with them like an aioli or something. The service was good, however there was a mixup with the reserved table and they had to hurry up some previous diners in order to seat us which was slightly awkward but that’s really the only knock. Overall a good experience.

My wife and I have eaten at too many fancy non-chain restaurants.. this is by far my favorite. Well worth every cent. Different items on the menu every time we go and an amazing brunch menu! Great staff too!

It's an hour's drive from us, but worth it. The server was attentive but not intrusive. The meals are varied and delicious...The price is reasonable...I was actually surprised the bill wasn't more! Seating is limited so I would recommend reservations.

The name suits this place since you will need to cash in your life savings.. Over priced for the food quality. Waitress did not get our order in a timely manner. The apps came out and we still haven't got the order placed. $8 for a small bowl of boiled peanuts. Shrimp and grits blah, picked egg was nice. I just can't get over that high price. My rating is 3.4, I miss Nanas.

Food wasn't good and overpriced. Jalapeño corn bread was dry.

Our party had a delightful dinner here last night. Our server was excellent and the drinks were well mixed and delicious. Arancini, pickled vegetables, pork belly, venison, shrimp and grits, and the creme brulee were loved by everyone at the table. The vibe of the place was super cool and laid back. It felt like the funky little restaurant you'd see in a Hallmark Christmas Movie. We will definitely return soon and can't wait to try other things off the menu!
