Regular patrons at 1870 and can’t exaggerate how incredible the food is. Great cocktails as well. It is typically very busy so if you’re looking for a guaranteed fast meal you might want to look elsewhere.
This is a gem in plain sight. Right on Midlothian Tuenpike. I’ve driven by this place countless times and this was our first, but definitely not last visit. I love the charm and layout of the place. Celebrated my mom in love birthday dinner here on a Sunday night. The service from Gavin was top tier. All meat was cooked to perfect order. Our group had the duck, New York strip, filet, flounder, and Salmon. I would recommend all entrees. The beef tartar was delicious as well as the oysters Rockefeller.
