good service and tasty chiken

My husband and I are regulars here and I'm so upset that this happened at one of our favorite spots. We had dinner here on Friday night it was pretty empty considering it was like 8 o'clock. We both had the same thing, the yum drum trio. While I was there I realized that one of my pieces of chicken was still a bit raw and it had what looked like cooked blood from the chicken so I didn't finish my plate. I figured I would be fine because I didn't eat the chicken that was raw but I guess my other chicken also got contaminated. When we left my stomach wasn't feeling too great but I figured it was because I was full. We got home and I still wasn't feeling too great and my husband started complaining of stomach problems too but we ended our night and went to bed. I woke up around 3 in the morning with horrible diarrhea and then my husband followed. We've both been sick for the past 2 days and have barely been able to eat. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be eating here for a while.

My son and I waited 35 mins past the time of pickup for the lady with the star tattoo near her eye to walk back to the kitchen more than twice to check on the status of my single order of wings. She never once updated me with a time or apologized for how long it was taking. The last time she came back, I had to ask for an update and she looked at me and made a weird “yikes/sheesh” face as if my order hadn’t been started yet. At that point I told her I wasn’t waiting anymore and walked out. It’s wild to me how this place employs such incompetent people who have no customer service experience. I get it, it’s not a job she really cares about and I think everyone is seeing a decline in customer service jobs (especially fast food) but it’s still frustrating when there’s no apology or attempts at reparation for an oversight or mistake on the business end.

Very good service especially the manager today (Dec19/7:07pm).
We had to wait for sauce for my Bibimbap and food got cold but the manager took care us for having to wait. We would highly recommend eating here. The food is amazing!

Not sure what happened to this place. The strips used to have tender meat with a crunchy outside. And they were reasonably sized. These literally look like and have the texture of beef jerky. I can understand now why so many of the local Bonchons are failing if this is the quality of food.

Went there on Friday December 27, 2024 at opening and there was no one there. Lights off, chairs up, and no signs that stated if they were closed for the holidays. I wondered we're they closing like the one on Broad street did years ago.

I was told by the cashier I couldn’t order my wings plain. So I ordered the soy garlic, she said it was technically plain. I was so dissatisfied with the taste

Place seems nice got there right before close so did takeout. Thd staff was excellent but the chain has ruined the strips. What I remembered pre covid (the last time i had eaten at bon chon) were nice blocky pieces of chicken breast, what I got this time were stringy chicken fingers from a kids menu. Tasted good but definitely not what I remembered and really liked previously. Again, the staff was excellent just wasn't the great chicken strips that I was hoping for.

I went in to pick up an order for my parents. The order was supposed to be ready when I got there, and typically I don’t mind waiting a little longer to get food, I understand sometimes there are delays. Other customers are in the same predicament and are receiving profuse apologies. About 25 minutes passes and I am offered to let my parents choose another side to let it be faster, that the order was ready but being held up by one item. I give them the ok for that, assuming it would be another couple minutes and I’d be out. Another 20 minutes pass and I ask that they switch it back to rice if I was going to have to wait that long anyways, and then five minutes later they bring the order out and essentially their answer is “Too bad, I’m sure they’ll be fine.” I remained pleasant and explained the predicament, and the employee did not empathize at all. My wife had been waiting in the car for 45 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready. I just felt like no one cared, that we had prepaid and at that point our concerns no longer mattered. I would hope that your customers would be treated better. The food is always good, by the way, but the service makes it difficult to want to spend money there anymore.
