Normally this is my favorite go-to for a gooey cheesie pizza and a cheese steak. I always order with Doordash. Today, the original delivery time was 5:32. Then it was 5:38, then 5:40 and so on. My pizza was ice cold and not cheesy at all. My sub was also cold. French fries and onion rings were...COLD. And, to top it off, I paid over $11 for cannoli (2). I'm done with DD and now Candelas.
I was planning on eating at Palermo's which is up the road on the Midlothian Turnpike, but it was crowded, and I didn't want to wait the 40 minutes for a table. So, I drove a few minutes to the Kroger shopping center and found this gem. Nothing really special, but there was no wait. The service was very good, and the food was served hot and pretty good. Ordered an XTRALg pepperoni pizza that was great. Also ordered a LG Greek Salad that looked like a small. Not much lettuce at all but it did have the usual toppings. Love this place but there needs to be some quality control when it comes to portioning. When you pay almost 20 for a salad it should be loaded with lettuce.
