My first visit to this location and it's been a long time since I've eaten at Chopt. The atmosphere was clean and bright: it's a self service type of dining where you enter what you want into one of the kiosks .Your order status appears on a board. They had a variety of options and I chose Chopt Crispy Chicken Ranch wrap. It was a generous size, but only had 2 pieces of chicken in it sadly. The vegetables were fresh and definitely all is made to order.I'd return. ?

I was so excited to have this place go in close to home!! Sadly, it didn't live up to my expectations. I made a custom salad. I was upcharged twice. The salad good, but it was almost $18. I finished it and was still hungry. Definitely not a good value. Sweet staff, too bad the restaurant was so stingy.

I was a frequent customer of Chopt but not anymore. I ordered a salad to go and my dressing was not put in the bag. I did not realize this until I got home. When I went back for the dressing and inquired about throwing in a bag of chips for the inconvenience, I was told no. I called to express my concern to the manager at having to travel back for the dressing and as a frequent customer, I would like to think they would do more for the inconvenience. In the middle of me expressing my complaint, she cuts me off to say “is this it. About a bag of chips? Because we have other stuff to do”. I told her it is not about the bag of chips, it’s the principle and making an effort to right a wrong and make up for the inconvenience. If you can’t offer the bag of chips, fine. But the manner in which I was spoken to is extremely unprofessional. I will be reaching out to corporate to voice my concerns with the lack of professionalism. I will never go back to this location.

While new to Virginia, Chopped has been around for awhile. Fresh ingredients and a hand chopped salad. There are a few hidden problems. First, you will see two kiosks when you first walk in. Do not order from them. If you do you will be waiting for a very long time. In fact, after I ordered from the kiosk, 7+ people were served and seated eating before I even got my meal. Go straight to the counter. Second, read the small print. On your fresh salad you are only allowed 4 toppings. Anything else is .79 extra. You can't imagine how fast that adds up. My friend walked out with a $20 salad. The funny thing is that even with all those toppings, her salad was not bigger than mine. Can we say the skimpiest toppings at .79 a serving? So not worth it. Third, there is no soda machine, (canned drinks), and iced tea and lemonade self serve. However they also have self serve water, save some money and ask for a cup for water. The place is new, but the tables are quite close to each other. I probably won't be back, I just can't get over the $20 price for a salad.

I ordered the classic Cobb salad and the tomatoes were mushy. Very disappointed for the cost.

First time visiting a Chopt Creative Salad eatery and WILL DEFINITELY eat there again! The service was great -- so was the food! As my friend and I decided on our salads, I asked a number of questions (about whether or not items could be left out OR traded for something else); all of which were politely answered.I chose the warm Chinese Chicken Salad with a tasty rice and quinoa base. I exchanged the cabbage and cilantro mix for romaine, then watched as she added the Sesame Ginger dressing, warm chicken, chopped raw carrots and broccoli, pickled onions, and wonton strips! SO YUMMY!!Later, I asked what parts of the "dishware & flatware" could be recycled, and the gentleman (possibly the manager?) said that everything but the bamboo tray was recyclable. That included the bamboo to-go bowl and lid, the napkin, the straw wrapper, the small bag in which a slice of bread (optional) had been placed, the drink cup & lid, as well as the fork (made with a plant starch). Their trays were sturdy and strong, and although also made of bamboo and COULD be recycled, they are washed and reused. Just a VERY pleasant place to have a meal! THANKS, Y'ALL for a great experience!!

The food is pretty good, but we’ve been there a few times since they opened and every time they’ve forgotten to give us our dressings on the side, which is sad because they charge extra for additional dressing.

I stopped in today at 11 AM just as they had opened. First time there. There were several people walking around and I was not greeted. Assume the owner was the one with glasses, and the T-shirt, but he did not say a word to me. Word of advice, no matter how good the food is if your customer service is on poor, you may find your business, short-lived.

All they do is salad. So how do you forget the salad dressing I asked for on the side? Pretty nasty salad without dressing. Actually, the salad was not better than a grocery store salad. Chicken was tasteless and only one piece of crispy shallot. No bread either, but they said the bread is complimentary, so I guess it's ok to forget that too. Not impressed! Very underwhelming.

Great place. Everyone was helpful and friendly on our first visit. We love being able to order on the app and pick it up through the drive-thru.

The manager's customer service leaves a lot to be desired. A hello and a smile goes a long way. Much farther than the deadpan, gruff communication I received this afternoon.

I called the restaurant in midlothian on yesterday to complain about my build your own salad, the GM was supposed to call today, I guess forgot.Although I purchased two salads on 12.26.27, it wasn't until I got home (1.20 hours away) and sat down to enjoy my salad, that I realized I was chewing on shredded plastic. My husband's salad was fine.I'm very happy that I actually chewed my salad and didn't swallow. I could've choked. The salad was very good at that.I'm a little disappointed by this, as I've been frequenting this spot since it has opened. The young man who made the salad was very helpful, gave me everything that I asked for and I'm sure it wasn't his fault. My suggestion is whomever does the prep work in the back, should be mindful of this. The next customer may not live to tell it.Vegetarian options: More vegetarian options would be great.Dietary restrictions: If you want a vegan proteins, they offer tofu and falafel (VERY GOOD). If you want a non-dairy dressing, they have that as well. Our favorite is the sesame ginger. Be careful with the falafel as it is right next to the bacon crumbles and was mixed into the crumbled falafel. The young lady was very generous and got me some falafel in the back. God knows I would've been SUPER SICK.Altogether, this is my first time experiencing something like this at this location.
