My son moved to Midlo a few years back, this is a regular stop when we visit. Outdoor seating, sausages, sandwiches, pretzels beer. What more can you ask for. They also have Nightingale ice cream sandwiches

I love this place! Great Germany beer selection served in liter mugs with excellent choices of German entries and side dishes. I head here every time I head to Richmond. Dog friendly!

The humans that serve food and drinks, are stupendous. The atmosphere is great. if you're not sure what you want to eat ask any of the hosties, and they'll get you in the right place. Also if you're not sure about what to drink try a free sample of any of the alcoholic beverages (if you are of age)

Low key atmosphere to enjoy a beer and some really tasty German food. I'm especially a fan of their giant pretzel, which came out molten hot, delightfully soft, and ridiculously delicious with the mustard and beer cheese.

The inside looks amazing, the way they do ordering was definitely new to me. Im a picky eater and a lot on the menu scared me. The pretzel was to die for and was about two times my head! Their beer cheese was fantastic! It's amazing. Definitely need to go.

German beer selection is the best I’ve found. All of the food is priced great, so it is a nice family-friendly place to hang out in the Biergarten and have some great food! Staff is always on point.

We had an amazing first time at Fest today for lunch! I had a half pour of the Steig radler and my partner had a half pour of a gose. For our mains I got the schnitzel sandwich with warm potato salad, and he got the alamo burger with mac & cheese.

The beer was perfectly chilled and served in a nice, hearty pint glass. The half pour was more like a full beer! lol.

The schnitzel was large, will yummy pickles and mayo on a soft bun. The bun held up the entire sandwich! The burger was well seasoned and the jalapeños the perfect spice level. The sides were ok, the warm potato salad had a very good initial flavor but after a few bites was too vinegary for my liking. The Mac & cheese side was also just ok. I will absolutely be back for the mains and to try other sides and beers!!!

They have a $5 schnitzel Sunday which is really cool too. Great price point.

The manager (owner?) came to our table to confirm my partner who asked for no peppers, did he mean bell or jalapeno? He meant bell. This small touch meant a lot and shows how prideful they are in the business’s customer service.

The Biergarten has plenty of shade from the numerous umbrellas, but you can also opt to sit inside which melds well as they have garage doors opening up to the Biergarten.

We’ve been ordering from Fest for years…usually takeout. The food is always good. Usually, everything goes perfectly but when it doesn’t, they do make it right…..and that is a rarity with most businesses. We love the burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, salads, and pretzel with beer cheese. They also carry Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches. We will definitely order again soon.
