First time here at Katana Sushi. The reviews were awesome so we had to try it out. The wife ordered Kenny and Tuna Love. I ordered Tuna Love, Melvin Roll and 2 pieces of fatty tuna. Service was just as amazing as the sushi. Food was extremely fresh and delicious. Service was quick and very friendly. We will absolutely be back again soon!

We went for the first time today and it was absolutely delicious. I normally eat a lot of sushi, but the amount of fish meat you get is out of this world! And the quality!!!! We sat down and got a little starter from the kitchen on the house, which was very sweet and tasty! We will for sure go back. Highly recommend!!Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie appetizers, soups, mains, sides and so on!!Parking: We got a spot right in front of the restaurant.

What a gem! I appreciated that they took a reservation because I have a small kid and we had a big group. We got a lot of sushi rolls and sushi pieces and everything was high quality, fast, and correct. This might sound small to some but they doted on my toddler and brought his food out first to curb toddler hanger. His food came on a cute kids plate that made us feel special. Kids menu at a sushi restaurant was a welcome sight. We ordered additional sushi a few times and never had to wait very long at all. We’ve been to Japan multiple times and never imagined finding high quality, traditional sushi here in Richmond. Katana totally blew us away, with sushi rivaling what we’ve traveled to DC to get! The chu toro and salmon belly were fantastic and our server, Tugu (who took great care of us), shared that they receive shipments of fish from Japan 2x per week!With both incredible sushi and service, this place has easily made it into our top 10 fav restaurants in town.

Several options were not available but we weren't told until we went to order. Overall the food that we did get was good and plentiful. Our server also forgot our appetizer until we were ready to pay but we didn't hound her - we were just ready to go at that point.This was fine overall but I don't know that we'll be back.

This is top 10 places in rva kinda area they got some pretty fresh fish. You’ll have to just try it. And some different items, on the board in the back. Sashimi was damn good.
