Katana is one of our absolute favorite spots in Midlothian, and we keep coming back for good reason. The fish is always incredibly fresh, the food is consistently delicious, and the servers are genuinely fantastic — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our kids love it, which is a win in itself! But it’s also become our go-to date night restaurant, which says a lot. Highly recommend!
The cuts are generous and the wait staff are on point. Very nice variety of flavors and their Katana dumplings are so addictive (they give you one as you sit but you can order more as an appetizer!). Highly recommend for a sit down, quality sushi bar. It is not all-you-can eat but that makes the quality each piece and roll that much better.

I had such a lovely experience eating at this restaurant tonight. The restaurant had such a calm, cozy atmosphere and the staff was very sweet and kind. We ordered the volcano roll, Captain Crunch roll, Kenny roll, and Unagi roll. All were absolutely incredible! What was the most surprising for us was trying the volcano roll, which has cheddar cheese on it, and it was astounding. I would have never expected something so different to pair so well together.
