I’m from southern VA and used to frequent a Mennonite bakery / sandwich shop that supplied their food from the local Amish community. This place is the closest I’ve found to that in Midlothian. Heavily reccomend. Staff was also wonderful.
Best fresh bread in Midlothian and they make fresh to order sandwiches. They also now serve fresh brewed coffees and cookies, muffins, sweet bread loaves and loaves. I'm sure I'm leaving out some things but worth a visit. One of my faves is the spelt bread!♥
Prairie Grain Bread Company is always pleasant and welcoming. They happily answer all of my “what are the ingredients?” questions with a smile. The spelt bread is delicious—and they even warmed up a slice for me to taste. Great customer service and great bread!
