“Enjoyed a (1) shrimp and (1) brisket taco! And the threesome chips and dips. It's really good, but it's a little costly. I would take advantage of their happy hour pricing. Overall, it was a good experience. The staff was friendly and the food was good!“

“I am from out of town and I ordered two quesabiria , one carnitas and one cow lip tacos. Oh my goodness!!! Some of the best tacos I ever had!!! Especially the last two tacos ??? so fresh, hot and tasty!!! And their salsas are amazing!! If you can really handle the heat, get their spicy salsa, it’s very very spicy and just perfect!!! Their service is also very very good! I inhaled the food so fats that I didn’t get to take any pictures ? Highly recommend!!“

“First time at Sloop John B Island Style Taco Bar and YOU need to go! It is a beautiful and upscale contemporary ambiance that reminded me of a spot I would find on the beach. Everything from the drinks to the food was die for. It was a refreshing take on fresh salsa and Caribbean flavors- the appetizers and tacos were to die for. The service and personal attention was a wonderful experience and we will certainly be back- VERY soon!“

“When I tell you the way that this food melts in your mouth! I got the Nashville sandwich and the last couple times I tried it. I couldn’t stand the sandwich, but I had to try it from this place. Yo, it’s place to press perfection, they wrap up the whole sandwich so it leaves nice and hot and the fries don’t even taste close to being refrigerated or frozen! I can also tell that they use a very good clean here, five stars for nice healthy option for unhealthy food!“

“I absolutely love this place! It’s in my top ten in RVA for sure and one of the places I order from all the time. The tamales melt in your mouth, the gorditas are filling enough I can have one and call it lunch and they’re the only place I’ve ever been who puts loroca in the mixta papusas 🥲 amen.“
