Great food, great vibes. Out waiter was very nice. The bread pudding was amazing. Had a cocktail with blue Curaçao and it tasted like medicine.

I'm so disappointed -we have always loved coming here and I always get the same dish -the salmon with roasted asparagus and potatoes, which is usually absolutely delicious. This is 2nd time in a row where salmon is just not good quality, too much salt, and soggy asparagus . I'm curious if it's a new chef, maybe combined with new supplier for their salmon? Hope they figure it out. We will wait a while before coming back again and have to find a new go to for seafood until then.

The restaurant itself is pretty nice. The food was mediocre. Of the four of us, none of us was satisfied with our meals. And our server acted like he didn't want to serve us at all. We definitely won't be back.

I felt at if the waiter Adrian did not want to serve us. Offered nothing, not even his name. If something was needed, we had to stop someone and ask them. Food was pretty good but more enjoyable if the person acted like they wanted to serve you.

The food was excellent. They have the best fried Oysters in town. (Not overly breaded and great flavor. The noise level is just right. I have been there several dozen times and have never had a bad meal there. Excellent seafood.

Highly recommend the Seared Salmon, the meal was a good portion where you’re full and don’t have much left over. The taste was phenomenal it was so good. My fiancé and I also got the 1/2 dozen oysters and seared scallops - Both were incredibly good! To finish the dinner we got the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream to share.

We were a little early for our reservation, so the host/manager asked us to wait while they got things ready. She came back a few minutes later to let us know that the reservation system unfortunately allowed overbooking this night, and she asked us if we would be okay with sitting at a table located behind the host station. I guess other people have said "no", but we were fine with it. She offered to comp us our first round of drinks and an appetizer (she did comp the drinks). Very professional way to handle this situation! Matthew was our server; he was VERY attentive and had a good sense of humor! The calamari was perfectly prepared, as were our entrees (shrimp & scallops and Hard Shell pasta). Our desserts were tasty, too. We really like the decor changes; much brighter inside! We'll certainly be back!

I had the salmon and my spouse had the filet mignon, both of which were cooked to our liking, served hot, and tasted great. Our waiter was appropriately attentive and responsive to requests. The only negative was the volume level. The dining room was full, which is great for the restaurant, but it was hard to hear one another.

We enjoyed the restaurant, our waiter and the food was very good. Only ‘minus' was that we had just begun to enjoy our appetizer and our entrees arrived within minutes. We felt rather ‘rushed'.

This place remains having one of the most delicious steaks in the city. If given the choice between neighboring Ruth's Chris and The Hard Shell for a steak, this is the hands down winner.

You know what's special about Valentines dinner at The Hard Shell Belgrade? Nothing. Regular Tuesday menu, no feeling at all in the host or service staff. The food was good, but I feel the quality of service goes down each time we visit. Maybe we were just lucky that the first time we gave it a try was a random weeknight where we had no plans and happen to stop in for surprisingly friendly and delicious meal. I'm starting to realize the things that made that first experience so good might not happen again. The inconsistent level of experiences makes The Hard Shell Bellgrade a solid 3 star review.
