This was my first time at Hard Shell and I was impressed! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the host. We were seated and the waiter came immediately to provide fresh water. The menu had a good variety of selections. I ordered the crab dip and it was good . I selected the crab cake and lobster tail entree that included asparagus and whipped potatoes. The service and atmosphere were excellent. We enjoyed our dinner, and the hard shell pasta was outstanding. Unfortunately, the calamari appetizer was overcooked and rubbery. There is ample parking and is handicap friendly. A full bar with a strong wine and drink list.
I called Hardshell and asked if they had any availability and the person said no, they were booked to full capacity. I checked Open Table to see if I could get a reservation for a later time. Availability showed several with the earliest at 12:15p which was 15 minutes after I called. I reserved the 12:15p slot and arrived on time. I was seated immediately.
