Our server, Colby, was great. Knowledgeable and attentive. The Brussels sprouts and mussels appetizers were the perfect choice. The new outdoor seating was very comfortable. I look forward to going in cooler weather to see how the heaters will work.
In the past, we have loved hardshell for Sunday brunch. Yesterday, although the service was wonderful, the crabcakes tasted old and really strong. The fries were cold. The fruit had been in the fridge way too long. Very much a disappointment this time.
We had booked an outside table. Im glad we did. Inside was pure cacophony and made my ears ring. Only one of the outside ceiling fans was working but luckily we had a portable fan nearby. Once seated it was quite pleasant and quiet. We went with the fried oyster appetizer which is always excellent. I had the grouper tacos which we very tasty but he slaw was a little dry but all in all very nice. My partner had a petit filet which was ordered medium and was slightly overcooked...
