Everything we ordered was seasoned to perfection and incredibly fresh. We got the buss-up on Saturday, reheated it on Sunday, and it tasted like it came straight off the stove. Bless the hands of the cook! Anytime we’re in Virginia, we’ll absolutely make time to stop here—and bring food with us for the rest of our trip down south.
Quick tip: If you’re ordering a roti dish, get the spinach and pumpkin as your sides. You will not be disappointed! Yes, there’s a small upcharge, but you won’t even think about it once your taste buds start thanking you.

I found this while searching for Caribbean food while I was visiting my family in VA. I love the atmosphere and the friendliness of the owner and staff. The food was amazing and my maubi and roti brought me so many memories from childhood. Now I have a place when traveling from Georgia I can visit whenever I come back to Virginia. Blessings!

Born in Brooklyn, my family is Guyanese. I've been living out here in hampton VA since 2021 and when I tell you it was impossible to find quality carribean food out here, let alone roti😮💨. I been miserable nothing had flavor. But let me tell you I drove out here to Richmond and tried this place. Curry chicken, goat and shrimp, potato, spinach and pumpkin with my buss-up. Aloe pie and sorrel. When I tell you I stuff my face. Thank you because I don't remember the last time I had quality curry anything out here or even a roti. The only terrible thing about this place is they sell out all the doubles and shark before I reach. 🥴 katty real nice the space nice. I need yall to open here in hampton and take my money weekly. I looking for a place for allyuh!!!!.

I'm so sorry but I have to tell the truth. I had try this place a few times hoping something with the food would have change by now and yet in my opinion the food is not up to par with the Caribbean flavors. it must taste great for people who never had real Caribbean food the wise they would had said something long ago. yes I know food - Go anywhere up north and you taste the real thing curry goat, curry chicken and Oxtail. The food need to be season a lot more and cook the goat all the way so it will melt in one's mouth. Let's look at this If curry food is not staining the dish it was served on then something is missing.I don't think it was just a bad day for the cook; but to be fair I will try on more dish.
I've been here multiple times the atmosphere here is amazing with the interior being pure vibes the place is draped in the flag and flag color of Trinidad & Tobago.
As for the food I usually get the Doubles they also have house made drinks which are quite good as well when they have them as this place is one of those places that when they are out of a certain menu item they are out and believe me there have been occasions when I got there and they had sold out of what I wanted to get so go early.
This is the only Trinidadian resturaunt in town and one of few if not the only one in Virginia, all in all this is one of my favorite places in town.

Everything was so good we had to go two days in a row. We had the goat, chicken, and oxtail curries. The flavors are layered and complex - also true of the hot sauce, which I’m hooked on now. The roti is tender, flaky, and delicious, and portions of everything are generous. Do yourself a favor and get the pumpkin - we’d never tried it before, and it’s addictive!

So happy to have found this spot. It’s so hard to find Trini food because our food is so meticulous and unique but this place does it RIGHT. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. I was transformed back to sweet TnT when I tried the doubles (bara was perfect), aloo pie, and beef pie. The curry chicken and oxtail were also cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!
