“They were super busy so our food took a while to come out but great things take time. I actually appreciate the kitchen taking the time to make our orders properly instead of rushing to get food out of the kitchen while so busy. As you can see, the steak was perfectly cooked.“

“We’ve been here multiple times and the food is always great. We recently went during their holiday set up and it was very fun. The atmosphere was great. I want to mostly highlight that they were very helpful with us bringing my 3 month old. They brought out a special holder for the car seat, didn’t make me feel awkward for having a baby in a nicer restaurant and were so kind. Highly recommend for service, food, and atmosphere.“

“I held my final Board Meeting of the year at Bartizan the first week of December. I asked that the room be festive and cozy and they knocked it out of the park. The food was delicious with many of my members saying it was the best steak they had ever eaten! Although all of this was great, the best part of the event was the team and staff I worked with to plan the meeting. My Board is still talking about the meeting and how great it was and trust me, that doesn't happen often!“

“We had dinner at Chef's Kitchen tonight, Feb. 21st. Our waiter Ben was amazing, as was the food. We started with the Burrata and Dumplings, both of which were mouth watering and glorious. My greatest fear is that those dumplings will haunt my dreams forever. I could probably eat them daily. I am telling you it was a religious experience. If not a religious experience then possibly a spiritual experience. I believe if Anthony Bourdain ate here he would have something pithy and wonderful to say. Something cultured and refined. For an entree we both had the braised duck gnocchi which was pillowy, creamy, and delicious. We paired the meal with a Cab Franc from barboursville which was decently priced and absolutely sublime. Give this place an opportunity. Eat here. My wife and I both agree that it is the best meal we have shared together in many years. Oh and ask for Ben and tip him well. He's the man.“

“Had a delicious dinner out with sister and the folks! Yummy free bread with olive oil! I tried their Jackfruit Sandwich with a side of She-crab soup (the soup was legendary- so creamy!) The table also shared Fried Oysters- another banger! The others got the Health Bowl, Fried Cauliflower, and a Salad (didn't get a photo of the Salad!). Great atmosphere and friendly staff. A bit pricey, so this is definitely more of a splurge night spot for us.“

“Food was very good. Waitstaff and bar very good too. The weak point was the kitchen unable to get our 4 meals out at the same time. 3 separate trips close to 10 minutes apart. Very awkward time for us waiting to begin eating. If they can sort that out, it could be a very fine place to dine out.“

“So it took us a while to try this place because we thought it was just egg stuff. Hahaa! To our surprise, there's so much more! One day we went to Latitude Seafood Co at Stony Point Fashion Park and they were super busy and it was pretty loud that day. (I have a review for there too) Anyway, we decided to try Eggspectation since it was right across the way in walking distance. We were so glad we tried something new!! Our waitress was wonderful, the restaurant and bathrooms were clean, and our food was absolutely delicious!! We have now put this place in our rotation of restaurants! While they also have outdoor seating, we have yet to sit outside. The inside is really cute and comfortable and the menu has a good selection for everyone. Don't pass up on walking through Stony Point either. Several other restaurants and stores are located there. But this particular place should most definitely be on your "must try" list! It's so good!!“
