We had company in town from Chicago and looked around the lake for a great local spot around SML. We came across their menu and the photos looked fantastic so we gave it a try. Best dinner experience i have had. Great variety of appetizers, juicy flavorful steaks and Gracie our server was personable and attentive. A++ experience. Will see them again soon.
I will start by saying, if your hours of operation are different than what you post on line, say so… we showed up at 8:25pm (posted hours say close at 9pm) watched another couple go in the door as we were walking in, and my wife and I are told “I will have to ask the kitchen if we can serve you, they stop cooking at 8:30”. Then we’re told if we can order in 3 minutes they will serve us. I almost walked out, but we didn’t! Our server Alex saved this from being a bad review....
As always, great staff and food. Shrimp Cocktail is 5 large shrimp, salad is nice, presented well and Rib Eye perfect. One of the best kept secrets on the Lake. Having a culinary and food industry background makes me reasonably critical so if you’ve not tried here, you’re missing out.
