Do not order the steak, my husband received what looked like boiled meat with the hint of a sear & was really disappointed. Everything else was ok, nothing to write home about, maybe it's fine for breakfast or a simple lunch, but I would certainly not go back for dinner.

At the end of a fun filled day at the park, it was nice to sit down and enjoy a nice dinner. I like that there are gluten free options. I had the grilled chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun and my husband had the fried green tomato blt. Both meals were very good. The staff and our server were very friendly. Highly recommend mend.

This was our second time at Mount Vernon Restaurant, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The space is beautiful and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing meal. My omelette was fluffy and delicious, and everyone in our group enjoyed their food. We're already looking forward to coming back again.
