“Puckette's Place also known as Bennets is a not much more than a convenience store/ gas station that happens to have a small restaurant inside. I've only ordered food there once by calling in my order. I got a couple of sausage egg and cheese biscuit and my husband got a couple bacon egg and cheese biscuits and we both got hash browns. They were AWESOME ! ! ! ! But mostly they're one of my favorite places to go when I need to run in and grab a drink, cigarettes or get gas partly because they're less than 2 miles from my home but mostly because the people who work there are so nice and because since the start of the covid 19 pandemic they have a mask policy for employees and customers and also provide hand sanitizer at the register for anyone who wants to use it after paying really driving home the fact that they care about their employees and customers.“

“Eaten there several times now with similar results.Food is very good but service is inconsistent ranging from slow and incompetent to fast and efficient. One dinner they only brought my entre and completely forgot my wife's.And the staff's young kids wandering around back and forth through the kitchen and seating areas is probably some safety and/or health code violation, but it doesn't enhance the dining experience.I'll go back, the food is worth pushing past the service.“
