We arrived at 3 PM on a Monday and the resort was very quiet. The Edge was empty so we had perfect seating with great views. The greeter, server, and cook provided a wonderful experience. Food was delicious, temperature just right, couldn't ask for anything better. The beef, potato, and vegetable soup was a pleasant surprise. No fillers, a meal in itself.
We thought our window booth would have a great view, but it was overlooking a parking lot. Our server was hard to keep track of, and thankfully his female colleague jumped in to bring us our beers after 15 minutes. The burgers were rather non descript and lacking true flavor. The chicken was on the dry side. The room with one TV was adequate but not exceptional. Maybe April is their apathetic or recovery month.
The nachos were so sad. Please don’t order them. Wings were delicious. Only four tables and the food took 20 minutes for 2 people. Waitress was sweet but we never saw her again after she served our food. I had to get the hostess to find her for our check. Then she returned my card saying it was expired. She ran it the wrong way. It definitely worked. The bar and atmosphere of the restaurant was cool.
