We went off season and off lunch hour. It was pretty quiet. Being at a ski resort the sidewalks weren't exactly a direct walk from the parking lot. The trip up the mountain was quite the hike I was soo glad they were still open
Great food, prompt service. Went during the summer season, so it wasn't crowded or anything.
We had the lucky chance of having Fernando as our bartender one random day when we visited wintergreen. He was a phenomenal bartender. Not only his fun and charismatic personality but his general knowledge of mixology. The Edge offers a pleasant dining experience with generous servings and attentive staff. The rib and shrimp special on Thursdays is highly recommended, with ribs that are full of meat, very little fat, crispy on the outside, tender off the bone, and full of flavor. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is nice for hanging out with family and friends. The Bang Bang shrimp has been highlighted as the best by some customers, and the sirloin steaks are cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are good, with kids' meals being large enough for adults. Although the crab dip is good, it could use more chips. Some dishes, like the burger, may not always meet expectations, but the fries are crispy and hot, even if they were a miss for some. The overall service and presentation are great, and the views of the mountains are lovely, making it a good place to enjoy with kids and loved ones. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant is known for taking allergies seriously, making guests feel safe and cared for. The prices are reasonable, with big plates for breakfast that include fluffy omelettes, artisan whole grain toast, healthy sausage, and perfect coffee refills. The music volume could be a little louder, but the experience remains enjoyable, especially when visiting on the mountain.
