This used to be a great place, with a full menu, wide selection of beers, fire pits in the winter, and friendly staff. Now it's a limited menu, no fire pits, and indifferent staff. The beer is still good; the food, not so much.
The beer here used to be my absolute favorite for over 15 years, but the beer quality has taken a serious turn for the worst recently. Had a beer and a flight and each one had that cheap beer skunkiness. I would have believed it if someone told me it was Champion Brewery beer. I have to wonder if they are cost cutting ingredients, shortcutting equipment cleaning or maintenance??

Came in on a rainy Saturday to test it out since we always loved Devils Backbone canned cocktails and IPAs. It's definitely a large spot when the weather is nice but in terms of indoor seating there's not a ton of seating. Lots of fire pits and covered areas outdoors though so even on a rainy day the place was busy. The outdoor bar was open and we waited in the cool cigar lounge for our table.
