“I’ve been twice and both times were better than any music festival I’ve been to. Very well organized and ran. The camping is phenomenal that time of year in that part of the country. They take it a step beyond with the amenities and cleanliness they provide. I’ve already purchased mine and my wife’s tickets and campsite for this year!!”

“The Copper Mine at Wintergreen was “temporarily” closed in 2020 during the pandemic. Now, at the end of 2022, it remains closed. It is still set up as a restaurant; the signs remain and it is still on the Wintergreen website. Nearly every other restaurant at Wintergreen has reopened. No one has presented a good explanation why the Copper Mine remains closed. I frequented this restaurant many times in the past and hope to visit again, someday.”

There was plenty of food, and the servers did a great job keeping up with beer orders. Kevin was super responsive to all of our email and phone communications and made the whole night a breeze.”

Our server, Shelby was so awesome that we ask to speak to the owner, Sal to give her the great review she deserved. Longevity of staff speaks volumes for a business and most of the staff in Lovingston has worked at Vito’s for a very long time. We are looking forward to our next visit!!!”

“If you’re in wintergreen skiing, mountain biking, whatever: Do. Not. Sleep. On this place. If you’re sick of the “burgers and fries” with the breweries around here, let Don Lupe’s give you reprieve. The draft beers I was brought were literally iced on top, the tortillas are homemade, the salsa is fresh, and the service is friendly and attentive. I ordered a molcajete to share and it was Out. Of. This. World. The atmosphere is modest and based on other reviews it might be new to the area, however, the food is made with care and is truly great. It was a relief not to have to make food in a kitchenette to avoid more resort/bar food. Come and try Don Lupe’s and you won’t be disappointed.”

“The fried chicken is the best we've had, the sides are very good as well. We stop for lunch every time we pass through Lovingston. The counter service is quick and friendly, but this is a small space inside a convenience store with just a few seats inside and some wooden picnic tables outside.”

While some people may see the owner as blunt, I’ve always experienced her as kind in her own way. The owner may be straightforward, but she works hard and provides great food every time. This place is a longtime staple in our community and deserves appreciation.”
