This is a few miles past Devil’s Backbone and it was the prettiest part of our drive. Service was friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed our drinks in outside area with plenty of seating. And who doesn’t love a cool old barn tasting room?! We left with cider, fresh apple butter and apple butter BBQ sauce.
Not sure how often they have a BBQ vendor set up outside, but it was the best BBQ of my life. Great service and friendly staff! Happy to support this lovely small business.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids running around and playing in the grass

Cider’s been a new thing for my better half and me since moving to Central VA. We’ve driven by Bryant’s a host of times. On Saturday, I made a solo journey out because my honey had a book club gathering. Glad I did.There was music, but best of all, I got to try my first dry Virginia cider. It’s way less sweet than some of the “bigger” cideries in the area. But dry doesn’t mean, less viable.
