Service was terrible. The server tried hard, but Management has made the decision to cut costs and implement a terrible ordering system. Servers will not take orders. Appetizers do not come out prior to the meal. Food doesn’t come out together for all parties. Extra fees are put on the bill. Food quality is good. They need to replace management with people that want to provide a quality experience.

Came in on a rainy Saturday to test it out since we always loved Devils Backbone canned cocktails and IPAs. It's definitely a large spot when the weather is nice but in terms of indoor seating there's not a ton of seating. Lots of fire pits and covered areas outdoors though so even on a rainy day the place was busy. The outdoor bar was open and we waited in the cool cigar lounge for our table. There was a 45 minute wait even though tables were open (you order by QR code). Our waiter was quite nice though so we never waited long for drinks or food. I highly recommend the nachos and we asked them for more chips because the chip to toppings ratio was large (which is rare). We got the wings too which were perfectly smoky but would have liked a bit more sauce. The food menu was great if you were a bbq fan but would have loved to see a few more simple options like a grilled chicken sandwich, etc. We stopped into the liquor store and the merch area and prices were fair in both, with some nice shirts and the canned drinks to go.

Waitstaff is always awesome! The Pear Mule cocktail is one of my all-time favorite cocktails! The brisket dipper on Saturdays is also on our list of faves.

Stood in front of the hostess for a solid ten minutes before even being acknowledged. Very rude. She was too busy with her tablet to deal with me and my fiancee. I had to ask before she finally acknowledged me and then told us it would be an hour wait. If I hadn't said anything, I'd still be in front of her being ignored.

This used to be a great place, with a full menu, wide selection of beers, fire pits in the winter, and friendly staff. Now it's a limited menu, no fire pits, and indifferent staff. The beer is still good; the food, not so much.

The beer here used to be my absolute favorite for over 15 years, but the beer quality has taken a serious turn for the worst recently. Had a beer and a flight and each one had that cheap beer skunkiness. I would have believed it if someone told me it was Champion Brewery beer. I have to wonder if they are cost cutting ingredients, shortcutting equipment cleaning or maintenance??

We had the best experience at Devils Backbone in Lexington. We had the kindest wait staff. They were even checking on each others tables, quickly taking away any empty dishes. My glass was never empty. The bacon wrapped jalapeños were the best i have ever had. The burger and fries were great. The GWAR Smash was the main reason i made the trip from two hours away. I was about to get three cases and they even helped load my car. It was rainy, so we didn't get to dine outside, but I'll be back again at a later date for that. Wonderful experience and beautiful views. The shopping area was really nice too. I kept going back in to grab just one more thing.

People treat this brewery like a daycare - careless drunk parents and kids running rampant, throwing rocks at each other and screaming. Staff aren't at fault. just not good vibes for someone trying to relax and enjoy a beer by the fire. Such a bummer because it's a cool spot.

What’s the point of closing off your wait list at 6:30 on a Saturday night and sending people away? Your staff does not look busy. I see no urgency. Recommend keeping an active wait list like every other place. Ridiculous. Families would go spend money at the distillery and come back to eat.
